A Beautiful Find in the heart of Franshhoek

Chapter house is perfectly situated in Franschhoek to walk to shops, restaurants and different activities.
We were met at the door when we arrived, by Max, who made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The room was superb and the lounge and dining areas were all very well-appointed. We unfortunately were not there for Tea in the afternoon, but the baking cake smelt delicious.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with a large variety of dishes to choose from. A definite must if you are looking to stay in Franschhoek.

We get a lot of really great feedback about our location which is nice and quiet yet right in the middle of town with easy walking access to the shops and galleries.

Next time you stay in one of the hotels, you must plan in some time for the afternoon cake, it is very popular and always delicious.

My experience at the Chapter House

The hotel is very well run and in excellent condition.
The staff is wonderful very friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is that the heating did not work properly in the room .
I informed the staff and they said that they would move me to another room but since the weather cooperated the room ended up being cool but tolerable.
Otherwise a great experience with a particularly amazing breakfast!

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful stay - everything from location to the food and room was excellent. The hotel staff are super friendly and attentive as they were kind enough to put the heater on in our room before we arrived to stay warm during the cold winter day. Would definitely stay again !

Would have liked to have stayed for more than one night

A lovely boutique hotel, down a quiet side street but close to the main road, with great staff. Max greeted us on arrival and was always checking to make sure we were happy. He also gave an excellent recommendation for dinner.

Our room was a good size and the bathroom was supplied with spa products which were very nice and available to buy.

Free coffee was always available and supplemented by cake of the day in the afternoon.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on offer.

I liked the stay but I was robbed

I stayed three nights in the Chapter House Boutique Hotel by The Living Journey Collection on May of 2024. I liked so much the stay, but I was robbed an amount of more than $1.000 dollars, that were inside my backpack in the bedroom closet. I communicated the manager of the hotel, but he didn’t gave me any answers.
