We stayed in a very new RF4 Riverfront Chalet. Beautifully positioned, so each chalet has a view of the water hole but still remains private.Repairs that were reported were immediately fixed. The rooms, kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are well appointed and the outside braai area is fabulous.
The staff are very friendly and efficient. The shop is adequately stocked. They did run out of Diesel over the weekend but on the following Monday the tanks were full again.
We found that of all the places we had visited in the Park Nossob's game viewing was that much more difficult, as the road was sunken in, hence one struggled to see over humps on either side of the road. The Roads are in bad shape and even after they had run the flat Tyre over the road and made it smooth, this lasted for just that morning and by the afternoon the corrugations were back.
We saw Caracul, Lions mating for three days, a very sick looking Leopard(we suspect it was the same Leopard, we had seen that had porcupine quills in its face a few days previously), and White backed Vultures mating.More
