Location is great as you can access park from 530am outside stays is 7am. Staff are amazing we stayed outside for 3 nights then inside and every day we went in we were meet with helpful smiles. Accommodation is what youd expect from a game park not flash, our cabin stunk of bats urine we enquired and it is apparently an issue they have, my wife woke at 330am to see a bat swooping me in bed. I'd recommend heading staying outside at Kgalagadi lodge personally

We did our Kgalagadi adventure and it started right here! The chalets were all clean, functional and had air conditioning! The staff were amazing ... we forgot some clothing in the bathroom and days later, when on our way back - they had it ready for us at the exit!

For years now we have been visiting the Kgalagadi. We always stay in Grootkolk, Nossob and Kalahari Tented. This year, we decided to also stay at Twee Rivieren on our last night. We were so impressed with the accommodation; clean, large and well equipped unit.
All the facilities in the Restcamp are well run, from the shop to the restaurant and the petrol station. And, the waterholes nearby easy to drive to .
Unfortunately, on our late afternoon game drive, we turned left towards the Auob instead of driving north to Samevloeiing Waterhole where we would have encountered the resident leopard.....saw photos online the next morning!!
I was devastated, but, am happy to know that staying at Twee Rivieren is so convenient and comfortable, so, we can try again on our next trip.

Kgalakgadi itself is a hidden gem. we flew from johannesburg to the town of Kimberley then an easy 2 hour drive to Twee Rivieren. Beautiful little camp, well kept, and great service from staff. The following day we moved to the central part of the park and ended our tour in Namibia. Incredible experience!!

Exceptionally well managed, seamless services, friendly staff, well stocked shop, clean all round. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also good for little kids. Restaurant had a fair range of food. Chalets are a little smaller than expected, but well equipped and air conditioned. We carried a fan for the area without air conditioner- from another review - and this worked very well. Carry cash as the card services can go offline leaving no alternative payment method
