We had a memorable Saturday night at the Hamilton. Beautiful location, perfect stopover before visiting the Kruger. The owners and staff go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Already thinking about our next trip next year, we'll definitely stay again. Unbelievable value for money. Thanks Billy, really enjoyed your company. Would highly recommend.

We had a great experience at the Hamilton. Hazy view is a good gateway to the panorama route and Kruger park is close by. We had a very nice stay in a cabin with great view over the valley. Very good beds and separate shower and bath. In the evening Billy runs the bar - lot to talk in Afrikaans - thnx. Diner is really superb, staff does more than there best and tastes great - compliments Curt! A place to remember! Maybe in a view year.. Thnx for staying, Justin & Annet.

We wanted to stay outside the park and do some sightseeing prior to going into the park. It was a real sense of adventure going down a long private road through the bush. It is an older thatched roof establishment with nice private and spacious rooms, with their own terrace. We had drinks at the small intimate bar before dinner, just after our swim in the pool - necessary as the temperature was 38 deg C.!! The staff and owners were very attentive and friendly! Would highly recommend - we will definitely return. No wifi reception or TV, which was just fine for us! All at very reasonable prices.

Room Tip: Book dinner in advance.

What a pleasure it was staying at Hamiltons again after many stays in the last
9 years.
Great atmosphere, excellent personal touch and great food.
Spacy rooms with fantastic beds and nice bathroom.
Spend some hours with a good glass on your own porch.
Already homesick again for this beautiful place.

Room Tip: all rooms have an excellent view on the beautiful valley

Joining a friend for his trip in Southern Africa, I didn't book this lodge myself. However, this was a great surprise. Located 45 minutes from the Nelspruit Airport and to the closest Kruger Park entrance, this Lodge is really very peaceful, thanks to the 2km small route you have to take from the main road.

It is not the pool, or the comfortable room that we had, or the fantastic food served to us for dinner that really made the difference in my opinion. No, it's the time that Kurt took to explain us the history of this property. It is also the fact that he truely enjoyed spending time with at night, talking with passion about his beloved country.

We only spend 2 nights there but would go back and advertise this location without any doubt.
