We spent the night here en-route to Cape Town from Johannesburg. This is a good halfway stop when travelling by road.
The units are clean and comfortable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which had 2 bedrooms and comfortably slept 3 people. Although the unit can sleep 5 people comfortably. We were spoilt with great views over the full Gariep Dam which is also one of the biggest dams in South Africa.
We ended up eating dinner and breakfast at the resort restaurant. The food was average, but the service was friendly.
We are more fond of hotels that are 4 star plus, so this was not the best option for us. Although you are not spoilt for choice in the area.
