Ever since we discovered the Aloha Oceanfront Motel in North Wildwood more than 20 years ago, my family and I have stayed there every summer, except for two when we were too late in deciding and they were booked. Driving down from New Hampshire since our children were infants, the Aloha has been for us the perfect family setting for our week in Wildwood. Family owned and operated, the Aloha is clean (immaculate!), well-kept, and well-managed. The staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive to any needs. And they maintain a pleasant, respectful, and safe family atmosphere.
We have stayed in the two bedroom apartment when the grandparents came with us, as well as in the one bedroom efficiency, and in the oceanfront apartment with just the four of us. The oceanfront offers a spectacular view. All the rooms are spacious, pleasant, and quiet. The daily maid service aims to please. The pool enjoys all-day sun and is very well maintained.
The Aloha's location is perfect: right across the street from the beach at the north end of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. It is about an 8 block walk by the beach to the start of the boardwalk, which we enjoyed even when the kids were little. Don't be tempted to drive: the walk back from the boardwalk at the end of the night is perfect so that the kids expend their extra energy...Ever since we discovered the Aloha Oceanfront Motel in North Wildwood more than 20 years ago, my family and I have stayed there every summer, except for two when we were too late in deciding and they were booked. The coffee shop located on premises is perfect for breakfast in your room or for lunch while you're at the beach or the pool... and the kids think it's a big deal when they can go down and order themselves!
For us the Aloha has become synonymous with Wildwood. If we can't get a reservation at the Aloha, we simply don't go to Wildwood!
Thanks, Joanie and family!
