The apartment is nice. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The water heater did not work on the first day but it was fixed the second day. The most confusing part is parking on the street. Each street has different date/time that parking is not allowed or has maximum hours of parking. We drove to Liberty State park in Jersey city and parked our car there ($7 per day). We took ferries to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis island, and lower Manhattan. Afterward, we took water taxi back to Liberty state park ($7 for adults). Other days, we walked to the PATH train station and took a train that goes to 33rd street. The travel time for the train is about 30 minutes and the walk is about 20 minutes (we had young children). Just be mindful that the train schedule is different on weekends, therefore, it is wise to pick up a schedule while you are at the train station. Overall, my family enjoyed the stay and we had a good time visiting NYC.
