...for a chain restaurant; bottomless fries are the bigger attraction to the combo. I've been to better/cleaner/friendlier RRs in my years. Service is horrible, which is why I am giving them a poor, not an average rating, as i would for other RR establishments. Managment is lacking here and it shows.

We were weary travelers in need of a good meal after our ten hour drive. The first person we met told us twice, "I'll be right with you," as he ran around talking to others, asking if we could have a table (which we requested). He did not seem to know where the tables were. I pointed them out. When we sat down, an electronic device was pushed (literally) into our hands for our order. ??? Then the scripted questions began: "Have you ever been here before?" No. Our server pressed a button on the device. "Where are you from?" (ready to enter our replies into the device). I looked at our hostess and asked if this information was necessary for us to just order our dinner? Electronic device was removed. Ice water came right away but the beer took much longer. We were told "He has to make it."??? Meal came. Food fair. Extra french fries in the bottomless pit offer did not arrive until the meal was finished. Overall, the experience seemed so scripted and technical, mechanical, that it lacked any human connection. AND the service was just as mechanical. Food was fair, not outstanding. We should have opted for Applebees, whose slogan (and treatment) - the "neighborhood bar and grill" makes you feel humanly welcomed. We likely would not choose Red Robin again.

This particular Red Robin is located on State Route 3, next to the La Quinta Inn ... the place is clean, and they have a full bar inside. The service was good, nothing overly great to write home about, but friendly. The burgers were actually pretty good, better then the fast food places of course, and they give you bottomless fries, if you enjoy the fries .... also if you have small ones, the kids menu also has bottomless Mac & Cheese. You can also substitute Salad and several other things in place of the bottomless fries, and they are bottomless as well. The manager even stopped by to ensure that we were happy with the meal, so the service was good.
