The room was clean and included a coffee maker and fridge. We were on the 2nd floor and there was a deck area where chairs were located to lounge in the sun and watch the beach across the street. Although we did not take advantage of the pool there was a nice one available. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. I would stay there again.

Have stayed at the manor numerous times and always very satisfied. Great innkeepers, very helpful and professional. Cleanliness of rooms and maid service top notch. Highly recommended. Look forward to next year's trip. Reasonable rates and great parking lot and pool.

This review is about the Manor house, not the hotel beside it.
The old house is beautiful. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, and still decorated as if it's the 1800s. The bathrooms are remodeled and some rooms on the ground floor have porches outside. The hotel is directly across from the beach and the large wraparound porch faces the ocean.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely visit.

Room tip: If you'd like a semi private porch on the side choose a 1st floor room.

The Stockton Inn is a conveniently located motel across the street from the beach. It's also a short walk into town near the Washington St. mall where there are shops and places to eat. Nothing fancy about the motel, but it does have a pool. Our room had a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, flat screen TV, 2 queen beds and a couch. The location of the Stockton is what makes it a great place to spend a few days in Cape May.

My best friend and I have stayed at the Stockton Inns for at least 8 years. We are always made welcome and it feels like a second family when we visit. The Inns are clean, updated and quiet. The beach is right across the street but they do have a pool if you don't feel like beach'n it. For us everything is within walking distance so we can park the car and leave it until we leave. If you are looking for different restaurants or places to visit outside of walking distance then you only have to drive 15-20 minutes. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants to stay in Cape May!
