Had a nice Saturday evening here, had to take an early reservation because they're so busy! The ladies had Tito's martinis and they were perfect. The gents had beers; Tuckerman's and 603 Winni.

We started with some flatbread, I also had a wedge salad that was crisp and fresh and delicious. My husband enjoyed the Tuna Tataki with a simple green salad for his dinner, clean plate club for him. 2 of us ordered Steak Diane with grilled asparagus, and mashed potatoes and it was excellent, took a good portion home for lunch the next day. The scallops (Applewood smoked bacon sweet potato corn hash and spicy honey chipotle aioli) looked delicious and am told that they were.

Did not have room for dessert, maybe next time.

We had a 7:30 booking, so not too late in the day. We ordered from the specials menu thinking it would be fresh and imaginative. The Chicken cordon blue seemed like it was deep fried chicken breast with a thick crusting and a slice of ham and cheese on top - tasted too salty too. The Swordfish was mushy and rather tasteless like it had been overcooked. Each dish came with heaps of starch, way more than was necessary and rather overpowered the plate. Maybe stick to meatballs or steak that I have had there before.
A nice benefit is the free parking which makes it really easy to get to.

We went to Cotton to celebrate my wife's birthday. We try to go somewhere new on birthdays. Unfortunately, we wound up sitting next to a table of 6 people that was quite loud. In addition, the lobster ravioli that my wife had was quite greasy and caused a bit of distress after we got home. My schnitzel, however, was pretty good. We went on a Wednesday but still found the restaurant to be full, including the fact that their parking lot was full. We wound up parking across the way in pay parking but it was only $1.50 for two hours (so no big deal). The wait staff was very good and the overall atmosphere (other than the crowd) was good. It is possible that if we had found parking right away, did not sit next to a loud group, and ordered something different, the review would be completely different. We may try it one more time since we did like the menu choices.

My wife and I went to Cotton for our anniversary in May. We sat outside on their patio, a perfect green space with grape vines and shrubs. The food is excellent and the service was top notch as always. The right amount of friendly conversation while allowing us some privacy.
