This new addition to Exeter’s growing restaurant scene adds the flavor that has been missing in the area. A nicely priced lunch menu offers everything from the traditional Pad Thai (which was outstanding) to Panang, Pad See-Ew, curries and several fried rice options. Lunch comes with salad and veggie dumplings. There is a street food menu, signature dishes, soups (Tom Yum and Tom Kha (very tasty!) ...Khao Soi and so much more. You can designate your spice level and the specific protein you’d like. The blossom dumpling is a work of art with each blossom petal hand done! And it is so tasty!
This is NOT the same tired Thai food found elsewhere. The owners are young and dedicated to a fresh, vibrant food experience...and this attention to detail shows. Service is attentive, prices are fair the and the entire dining experience is memorable. We’re making our way through the menu and can’t wait for our next adventure! A truly welcome addition to Seacoast dining.

We are always looking for Thai restaurants around and we were excited to see a new one opening up in Exeter. Tried it on a Friday night but got there a little early. Was greeted at the door and seated right away. The space is warm and inviting. It was not very crowded so our service was fine. The corn fritters were excellent! We tried the Cashew Crispy Chicken and were disappointed. The chicken itself was dry and rubbery. My husband ordered it hot, which it was and he was happy about, I ordered it mild, but it was still too spicy for me. The waitress picked up my uneaten plate and didn't even question it which I thought was odd. The owner stopped by to ask how it was and we told her we were disappointed in the main meal. She did say that next time it can be ordered with the chicken on fried, which we were happy to hear.

Went to try out the new Thai restaurant in Exeter on a Monday night. Was told three times they would be right with us to be seated (there was no line and open tables). Waited 10 minuets and finally left. There were people waiting for drinks and bills for a while. I would not recommend going as the service is terrible.

Capital Thai Kitchen and Bar is owned by a Thai couple. The state that their menu is both traditional Thai food and Thai street food.
We have traveled to Thailand, and ordered the more traditional Thai food. We found the portions to be generous and the food to be tasty.
The mango and sticky rice was especially tasty.
One of the owners stopped at our table to greet us.
We will return.
