I had 3 reservations for this property...1 free night IHG credit card, 1 free night IHG points, and 1 paid night. The paid night stated that there was a $45 resort fee, but the other reservation papers clearly stated "FREE." The young man checking us in said we had to pay the $45 fee for each night. I had him ask a manager who reconfirmed that. Then I asked if there could be an upgrade for our anniversary since I am a IHG platinum member entitled to upgrades if available. The desk person answered very snippy and said "Do you know how many people come to Vegas to celebrate something?" No up-grade.
As soon as I got to the room, I called the IHG corporate number and explained the check-in problems. The agent called the hotel and the front desk quickly called and said they would remove the $45 fees for all 3 nights as a "one time favor" in a haughty voice. These first impressions really put a sour taste in our mouths.
The room was beautiful but had a golf course/Wynn Hotel view - not a Strip view. No bottles of free water, tiny ice bucket, no champagne glasses (only wine), no turn down service (got chocolates in the hallway from room steward 1 night), and had to call for maid service with long waits.
We will not be returning to this hotel.More
