Our visit was an afterthought but what a wonderful surprise. The experience is very educational and gives you insight to the beginning of Las Vegas but also across the country. Don’t miss the speakeasy in the basement.

The museum has numerous exhibits, display and video areas set over three floors, along with the option of headsets.
I am not sure if it is just me, but the one thing I struggled with is somewhat of information overload and the ability to then try and understand the sequence of events by timeline or location etc. The exhibits seemed a little haphazard and not grouped or sequenced to understand the overall story.
The short videos are well worth watching
At the end of the museum visit there is then the Speakeasy which is located in the basement. A great place to unwind with a great selection of cocktails.
