A Great location right on the Fremont Experience in the middle of all the action. Everything one needs in a Casino is right here; food, drinks, rooms, slots, tables, etc., all with good service. Not smokey either.

We have stayed at the Fremont many times before. We are struggling this time. We booked our trip months ago and are staying at the Fremont for 5 nights. 2 nights are comped but we are paying for the other nights. Our room is on the 3rd floor with a view of the back of the Fremont street experience screens. It is in the far corner right by the stairs so the room is very awkward. How can you book months in advance and still end up with the crappiest room placement? The bathroom is extremely small and the room is very dated. Ladies be prepared to set your makeup bag on the toilet! No outlets anywhere near the bed and only by the tv. We love Fremont street experience and atmosphere but the extremely loud noise might do me in. Last night was a Saturday night so we expected noise. Finally settled down about 2:30am but started again this morning at 6:30am with music blaring! No WiFi in room, no coffee maker, refrig was available for $13 extra per night so we said no thanks. We tried to upgrade our room (we would have paid for the upgrade) when we checked in but they said there was an emergency at another hotel so no room available. Very run down hotel, stained carpet. We will not stay at the Fremont again because there are many options available downtown. We might not finish out our 5 night stay here this time!

Thank you for your recent visit to the Fremont. I apologize that you were kept awake by the Fremont Street Experience festivities. Many guests enjoy the vibrant nightlife that is ever present on Fremont St. Unfortunately, this fun is often accompanied by late night noise. Some people like the sound of the city while some prefer the sound of silence. Rooms are assigned upon arrival based on availability. If you are unhappy with your room, we would be glad to arrange a room change to another part of the hotel, unfortunately, we very rarely have suites available to upgrade to. We do offer free WiFi in the hotel lobby, casino and restaurants and do charge $9.99 for in room WiFi access. We always appreciate hearing about your experiences, value your patronage and hope you will always feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visits to the Fremont more enjoyable.

We were looking for a place to eat and just stumbled across their buffet. At first I thought It was a little blah, but when we walked in there was a variety of choices the food was really good the wait staff was right there if you needed anything. Then the big one! They asked us if we would like some champagne, that's when we found out that as soon as we drank it, they would refill it and they were right there! Very nice just an all around good experience.

I've stayed at almost every hotel on Fremont and only recently added the Fremont Hotel to the list. I was completely surprised. Stayed in room 1030. Was it a 5 star hotel? No! But I wasn't expecting that on Fremont. This hotel rose above my expectations. There was plenty of food at all hours, right on the "Experience", and easy to find.

The rooms were small as is expected for downtown hotels. This is old Vegas after-all. We were able to hang out at the "Experience" and return to our rooms to refill our drinks very easily and quick. Even for a historical hotel, the room was great. The housekeeping staff surely needed improvement as there were phallic symbols drawn on our windows, but the overall room presentation was nice.

Parking is valet only but without a "resort" fee, I didn't mind tipping for the car. It was nice driving up and leaving the parking to others. You park and walk 50' to the hotel registration. Not having to walk through an entire casino floor schlepping your bags is a good day.

Lots of food to eat. From donuts to steak to breakfast. We were always full. And the prices were quite affordable. Keep up the no resort fee and we'll stay here all the time.

Even for a hotel on Fremont, our room was quiet. You can ask for a room away from the noise or right on top of the "Experience." It is your choice!

The Fremont is my new favorite hotel on Fremont Street.

Room Tip: "Larger" room numbers are further away from the "Experience". Quiet is translated to rooms XX3X+.

Pros
Stayed here last weekend during Nascar and all I can say is that this was an affordable hotel, valet parking was very helpful because I didn't have to look for parking. I also liked that we didn't have to walk far to find entertainment because its right there on the strip. Staff was very helpful at check-in and also over the phone when I advised them that I was going to be late checking in.

Cons
The rooms were a little dated and the walls were so thin that you could hear the people in the other room talking in the morning.

The reason I gave this hotel a 4 was because of the outdated room and some dirty walls - I would stay here again in the future because of the affordability of the hotel and the location too. There are some minor things that need fixed but In my opinion, if you are on a budget try them out.The other advantage is that the street that they are in leads straight to the freeway too so it was easy to get to Nascar all of the days that we were there.
