This area has a lot of great bars, souvenir shops, casinos and entertainment! Best people watching in Vegas. The lit canopy is also pretty neat and the zoom zipline was a ton of fun. I would not recommend bringing little ones if you don't want them exposed to the partial nudity that is out in the open on Fremont street just sayin!

If you’re spending time in Las Vegas make sure that you visit Fremont street. Great atmosphere, lots going on!! During June/July they have stages up and down the street with various dance groups and bands so you can always find something for you to listen to and watch.
We spent time at the Golden Gate casino and hotel by their outside bar that is directly on the street. There were two lads mixing cocktails that put on a show for us so we could video them! They were superb! Do not miss this place it’s a must

The original strip slowly trying to claw back into reckoning by reigniting its past glory with spectacular sundown events & activity. That said it desperately needs some sprucing up and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

This was our first time here and kids said it reminded them of NOLA. Very cool place for the family with the lights and the sounds.

Visited on a Sunday evening, and aside from the light show on the roof, there was not really any reason to visit
Anyone for the restaurant which offers free meals to anyone over 350lbs, and where you wear a surgical gown to eat your meal??
There are a number of casinos including the original Golden Nugget but that is not really worth the 15 minute cab ride from the Strip.
Keep an eye on your possessions as some strange characters about and which leave you constantly feeling on edge
