Easy walk/hike and if you are willing to do some creative rock climbing you are rewarded with a view. Felt like we were right on the edge of the world on top of the cave rock with a straight drop off on the other side.

I’m so glad we found this hike that climbs a large rock above the highway. There are only room for 5 to 7 cars maybe at the trail head. We had it at the perfect time as there is only a couple of cars there. It is a bit of a climb but not very long. Once you are on top of the rocks, the views are spectacular. The rocks make it a little bit challenging but very doable. It is somewhat steep but we found it fun. It was also windy up top. We really loved this and highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, there is very few parking spots. There is a very easy hike up to Cave Rock where you can have great views. Once at the base of Cave Rock, it is an easy climb up the rocks to the top for some fantastic panoramic views from the top. You have to see it, live it, and breathe it. It was very enjoyable to sit at the top and take in the views all around. If you are going in the evening, make sure you bring flash lights to make it easier coming down the rocks. The trail to the base is mostly at an incline so it will be downhill on the way back to the car.

Unfortunately, climbing up Cave Rock wasn't an option for us, but it is impressive to look at and photograph. I didn't tell my daughter about it when we drove to it and she saw it coming and asked what the heck that was.

Only 4 legitimate parking spaces so we went past the full lot, turned around and lucked out that people were leaving. It is a short hike with little elevation gain, so the views are great the whole way. We ate our picnic lunch in the shade and soaked in the views.
