A small castle, still privately owned. The thing here is the beech forest surrounding the castle. It´s a big gallery full of interesting installations varied from huge red balls high up in the trees to a full size intricately painted train car and everything in between. We had a nice walk in the park, the trees themselves are very beautiful too. Particularly if you come from a part of Sweden where beech forests are rare, which I do. There is a very old oak tree in the park where the "Snapphanarna" were, according to legend, hanged back in the days. There are places where you can sit and relax. After the walk in the park you can have lunch or coffe at the restaurant. There is a gift shop with nice handicraft and locally made food. A place to recommend.

If you are in Skåne you must visit this wonderful place. We didn’t fancy going to the Skåne Djurpark again with our 3 children (8,5 and 8 months) and wanted something with play possibilities but not a theme park. It was a wonderfully hot day and the forest walk provided much needed shade. We spent 4 hrs here and really only saw half of the outdoor sculptures and didn’t have time to go inside. The sculptures provide amazing play opportunities so if your children love exploring and role play then this is the place for you. Highlights were the Tetris sculpture, Yoko Ono’s Wishing Tree and the Ball Pit. Really do go! Worth every penny.

The Wanås Sculpture Park is well worth a visit. Many art pieces that blends beautiful with the nature. Set aside minimum half day for the visit.
