Stayed for 6 days, was transferred via helicopter from Port Elizabeth Airport to the lodge. Quick and easy and worth it when making a long trip from Europe.
Don’t have the Big 5m but they arranged a day trip for us to view the Big 5 at Addo Elephant Park. Loved the fact that I could go for my morning run in this most amazing place.....What amazing views! The food was outstanding, and we ate dinner there every night it was so good. Their restaurant name sure explains it SigNature, with Lolly’s signature dishes set in Nature.

It must have been such a experience to fly along our amazing coast line. We are glad you enjoyed the Helicopter transfer and that it all went smoothly and we hope to see you landing here soon again!

Took a 30 day holiday to South Africa and stayed for a total of 12 days at Intle Game Lodge during the 30 days.
We had booked the Suite and Superior room, giving us two separate rooms with one entrance to the two rooms.
Really nice people who look after us and helped us with our other accommodation when we went down the Garden Route and to Cape Town.
What an experience. The children just loved the fact that we could go for a drive and climb out of the car and game viewer to explore the landscape and have a look at some animal bones.
Great pool area and of course free wi fi for my daughter.

There is a restaurant on site, which we mainly used for dinners and we had the breakfast included which was a healthy choice of things.

The lodge is well located from Port Eliabeth and there is a lot of things to do in the area.
Had an amazing “braai” with the owners one day which was a really nice experience.

Would need to return to South Africa and Intle Game Lodge to experience some more of the amazing Eastern Cape.

Sunset Views to die for

Stayed for 6 days, got a rental car from Port Elizabeth Airport to the lodge. Quick drive and easy directions received from the owners and the rental gave us the freedom to explore the amazing Garden Route, Knysna, Plettenbergbay and many more.

They don’t have the Big 5 but have a lot of other game. Giraffe, Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck, Wildebeast and then in a separate camp one of the big 5, being the Buffalo, which we got to feed with the owners and got some amazing photo’s
Got some amazing scenery pictures and was really nice to be able to go and walk around the farm and come up close with the animals they have.
Highlight for us was being able to rent the owners Safari vehicle and go for our own “safari drive” around.
This makes a difference compared to Game Lodges that have the big 5, which we have also stayed in, but there you are bound to the lodge and cannot do anything else.
Here at Intle Game Lodge you have FREEDOM!
They also do game drives to see their animals they have and give you the most amazing sunset vies and photo moments.

There is a restaurant and bar on site, also something that we found was different to the traditional Big 5 Game lodges. It is Not an all inclusive which only includes limited local alcohol when it is “all inclusive”, so at Inle you can have your Johnny Walker Blue Label or higher end wines if you want. (We are made to understand that they can do an All Inclusive Package if this is what you want, we prefer to be able to make choices and have the freedom)

Highly recommend a 3 day stay there at least and they can assist you with all your planning.

Will definitely return!

Your photos were amazing and we thank you that you allowed us to share some of them on our website gallery. The one you showed me with the Buffalo Bull that you took is a fantastic photo. Yes you are right we can arrange an all inclusive package for guests if they want this and are always happy to give them some locals insights on places to see and visit. We look forward to seeing you back with us again soon to show you even more amazing places here in the Eastern Cape close to our lodge.
