I stayed in the Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn for nearly a month as a result of a surgery performed at St. Patrick's Hospital, Missoula. I came in from out of state and was traveling alone for the first half of my stay. The staff in the hotel is absolutely OUTSTANDING! From the front desk personnel including managers Kyle and Jeff, Natalie, Stephanie and Samantha to the shuttle drivers, the housekeeping staff and the kitchen servers ~~ each and every individual was constantly going out of their way to make my weeks there comfortable. Regardless of what I needed they made sure I had access to it. Their warmth and concern both before and after my surgery went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I felt safe and secure and was treated like a member of the family. Marlyn in the kitchen made sure I had gluten free foods, the housekeepers made sure I had extra towels and water and never disturbed me when I had to rest after the surgery. The shuttle drivers were always happy to get me back and forth to the hospital for appointments. Every person working in the hotel had a smile on their face and a pleasant greeting day after day. The beds were exceptionally comfortable (I had a spinal fusion surgery so this was imperative), the rooms were top-notch clean, the hallways, pool area, lobby and all facilities were...I stayed in the Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn for nearly a month as a result of a surgery performed at St. Patrick's Hospital, Missoula. The shuttle drivers were always happy to get me back and forth to the hospital for appointments. Every person working in the hotel had a smile on their face and a pleasant greeting day after day. The beds were exceptionally comfortable (I had a spinal fusion surgery so this was imperative), the rooms were top-notch clean, the hallways, pool area, lobby and all facilities were constantly being maintained. The quality of food and coffee was outstanding as well. For those interested in the area surrounding the hotel, its proximity to MacKenzie River Pizza Co. Restaurant (this restaurant has an excellent menu with plenty of gluten free items too) was perfect (a stone's throw away) as well as the Starbucks Coffee and a gas station with plenty of food and drink items. There are also plenty of areas to walk (my husband was able to do this) as there is a nature preserve/Elks Foundation a quarter mile away. If you are there to travel, any of the energetic and engaging staff at the front desk will talk to you about Glacier National Park, Rattlesnake National Park, Flathead Lake, and how to get there and what to see. They are knowledgeable about the various universities in the area such as the University of Montana, and Montana State University and also know a lot about neighboring cities such as Spokane and Seattle and obviously gave recommendations about restaurants in the college town of Missoula. Having to stay in a hotel for nearly four weeks was something I was extremely anxious about but I found that it felt like home because of the people I was surrounded by and the comfort of the setting and quality of the facilities. We cannot wait to return for a VACATION ! More
