Simply a BLAST. We were visiting Big Sky, Montana (My Wife, Cousin, and her husband.) When we happened upon Montana Whitewater Rafting. I had always wanted to W.W.R. I discussed this with my cousin (My Wife does NOT swim.) We talked about crossing another item off our Bucket List.
The " More Challenging Course " is a twelve (12) mile course that includes a mile & half Category IV section of the Gallatin River. Montana W.W. actually call this the " Mad Mile "
It was assume. Our guide Raleigh was EXCELLENT. None of the five (5) rafters had every been on a White Water Trip (5 Rookies). The trip went w/o incident. Everyone had a GREAT time.
During the trip we were priveledged to see a Bald Eagle. It swooped ot of the trees toward our rafts then back into a tree near the water's edge. The wing span must have been close to five (5) foot. I would not take the trip trying to see the eagle (s). Our guide said this was extremely rare.
Montana Whitewater has a professional photographer and they take excellent pctures. I ordered all the pictures.
I highly recommend Montana Whitewater Rafting to anyone in and around the Big Sky/Bozeman, Montana area.
