My daughter and I were traveling on Greyhound to Missoula this month when the bus stopped in Billings for 45 minutes.
We really hadn't had time to eat much during the stops from Fargo, N.D., and we were getting hungry.
Checking out the options real quick around the terminal, we realized there wasn't very much except for a packed Mexican restaurant, which we didn't have time for.
My daughter was looking for delivery places on her phone, when she came across this Jimmy John's that didn't seem far away.
She gave them a call, and explained where we were. They said no problem, and we ordered the Gargantuan sandwiches.
I figured they'd be just like a couple of Subway footlongs or something like it, but hey, any port in a storm right?
The driver pulled up in about 15 minutes, and pleasantly wished us a good trip.
We checked out our order on the bus and wow, they were huge!
Real capicola, real salami, real roast beef, provolone, ham, plus turkey. Stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles, it was hard to even take a bite, but once we did, they were so good.
Just wanted to take the time to thank these guys for saving the day during our trip with such good food at about the same price as a Subway sandwich.
There's a Jimmy John's about 3 blocks from my house in Fargo that I've never been to, but will be checking out very soon.
