Looking for a good lunch near our hotel while in St. Louis, a hotel employee recommended Sugarfire Smoke House. Had the pulled pork sandwich with sides of mac n cheese and broccoli cheese rice. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Wait line can get long, but it's worth it and they move you along pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend this place if you are hungry for great barbecue.

Recently we came from Tulsa to STL to visit college friends, they insisted we come here and I'm glad they did. We got ribs and brisket (and just in time because they ran out 5 minutes later) We can't get anything that good at home. Their coffee and mustardsauce was incredible, I'd be willing to buy a bottle of each. It was so worth the trip, if you're going to be spending some time in STL do yourself a favor and eat there.

Very well thought of by locals, and justifiably so! Ribs and brisket were absolute BBQ perfection and excellent quality. Sides were great renditions of old standbys.
The place is simple, efficient and friendly.

The barbecue is probably some of the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I have been here a handful of times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food every time. The service is always top-notch and the people working there are very friendly. It is a self service restaurant where you walk through a line and tell them what you want. You start with your choice of meat, then you select your sides, finally dessert if you so desire. The choice of sides are equally tasty. My favorite is the homemade macaroni and cheese. If you want a cheap lunch, then go to McDonalds and order off the dollar menu. But if you want a lunch that is extraordinary and you don't mind paying a little bit more for quality, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

Great smokehouse ambience (aka smells great, stuffed w people, etc).

Took 3 of my kids here for dinner while in St Louis. We had 2 meat combo, ribs & turkey and kids meals with pulled pork. Smoked to perfection!
