Took my 10 year old granddaughter and sister and it was so amazing! Bought tickets online so it made much easier! Very educational and exciting for my granddaughter! The new museum opens July 3rd so could not visit it. You gotta go as my sister and I went when we were children! Great memory!!

We did the museum and took the trip to the top. I think the view from outside is the most spectacular. Going to the top gives a good view of the city, but that's it. They don't really have a parking lot but you can park along the river for a short walk to the Arch.

This is not recommended for those afraid of heights as the top sways in the wind and it has windows that you pretty much lay on 630 feet in the air.

The Gateway Arch is a monument that every American should see when in the St. Louis area. It is impressive to think this parabolic arch was built as two legs that had to be connected at the top and when it was completed, the two legs were only a couple of inches from perfection over a 630 ft. height.

We were very disappointed not be able to see the new museum because we were a couple of weeks early. But the new downtown area is beautiful, very clean and I love the ability to no walk from the courthouse all the way to the river without having I-44 in the way.

My wife and I visited the arch while on our very short visit to St. Louis. It was a very neat experience to go up to the top of the arch. The view is gorgeous and the ride up is very interesting as the cars make adjustments as they go up to the top. It’s amazing engineering. We also stopped at the cafe to get a quick bite to eat and the food was moderately priced and it was decent. We tried the mozzarella and tomato pita. I would highly recommend visiting the arch, if in St. Louis.
