House was perfect. Very quiet and full of extras. Jaymi was a pleasure to deal with and had no problem ever getting a hold of her.
Very nice place to stay. We locked the key in the home and the owner graciously came and unlocked the door! Weather was in the negative but home was cozy! Thank you Jaymi!! Hope to see you in the summer time
Three flights up to heaven!! We were happily surprised by the spacious airy feeling of this 2 bedroom apartment. In the pictures you can see the rooms are set under a hip roof with dormer windows which would usually make one feel a little cramped. This was not the case at all!! The celings are still quite tall and the many windows and sky light add to the open feeling.
I loved cooking Thanksgiving Dinner in this kitchen!! Many big countertop areas made prepping and serving easy. All the necessary equipment was available and the owner texted to say if I was missing anything needed to let them know. Having the owner on sight is definitely a benefit.
Instructions for parking and entering are sent the day before and specifics for the stay are on the counter when we arrived. It was a smooth and easy stay. Our family in town loved it as well. We all felt more relaxed as we each could come and go, eat, and visit in our own time and space. One of the most relaxing family get togethers we have ever had. Highly recommend it!!
Had a glorious girls weekend. Close to the Plaza, Westport and the Nelson . Huge space with lovely kitchen and comfy beds. Only drawback was the many stairs. Can't wait to go back .
We were feeling adventurous and decided to give Jaymi's rental a try. It was a great location and easy to get to any area we visited. Parking was convenient, well-lighted, and the backdoor entry had a motion light to enable entry at night. It was clean and spacious with tasteful eclectic furnishings. It may be helpful for someone like us who did not know the areas of Kansas City beforehand, a waiter the first night there asked where we were staying. When we answered Midtown, he stated it was a kind of Bohemian area of town ... we would somewhat agree. Nearby Westport seemed "hipster".
A few things we felt were missing - a privacy curtain or blind in the bathroom (third floor with sheer curtain didn't seem private enough), and one of the hand towels had a bleach stain; we assumed there would be a microwave and didn't even think to ask beforehand. We would have been able to bring prepared food there to eat, or reheat leftovers or even coffee, but there was no easy way to heat it. Also, there was a noticeable "grain" smell from the pantry. Overall it was an okay experience, but we'll probably stick to nicer hotels in the future.
