Had fun stopping here for an hour or so today! Tons of rich history and stories all in one place. We got to tour the outside planes as well as the inside. It was filled with history books, pictures from the war etc.

Thank Amy H

Very informative and interesting. Lots of neat stuff from different branches of the service and eras. Can’t wait to go back when we can spend more time.

Wonderful (and free) place to visit. Well put together, take your time and the kids. Too bad it is not open on the weekends

They keep adding to and mixing up this fantastic military history museum that sits on the state National Guard headquarters complex. The exterior static displays are perfect for climbing upon and you can take photos for kids of all ages; veterans; current military to share their experiences. Good info on famous Missourians and their time serving the country from Harry S Truman to General John J. Pershing. Good exhibit overview and very friendly staff and volunteers. Much more robust than you would think.

We really enjoyed this museum. Numerous aircraft and ground vehicles as well as exhibits from all wars and various aspects of the conflicts. We will definitely return.
