Me and my friends rented the house for some days to take our dogs to the beach. everyone loved the house and its absolutly worth to rent it. Dee is a lovely person and helps you as much as she can if you need help with something. The house is amazing and beautiful and we felt like at home.
Thanks again for letting us stay at your house. as well the dogs loved it :D
Casa Montana is the nicest rental house in a group of 5 houses just east of downtown Sayulita. We arrived just after some recent upgrades to the house and really enjoyed our stay. If you have any self respect at all you can walk to town in about 5 minutes...maybe 10 all the way to the plaza, say 12 minutes to the beach. We never walked it once, Teenagers, ugh!
Every morning we had coffee on the upper deck/patio/veranda and watched orange-fronted parakeets, magpie jays, yellow-winged caciques, chachalacas and a mother cinnamon hummingbird feed her fledglings not 10 feet from the deck! Totally cool. The deck has a nice view of the nearby hills and jungle.
At the time of our stay the house was not furnished with any type of beach amenities like chairs, coolers, parasol or boogie boards, but they were not advertised as part of the package either so no problem. I just thought it would have been nice to have all of those things....just sayin.
We never used the pool as it is not particularly inviting as it sits to the side of the culdesac where nearly all your neighbors can peek in on you whilst you chillax, meh, not interested in that...plus at night there are no lights at the pool (that I could find).
So that's it in a nutshell, we really liked the place and found the owner and her local manager very nice. We would totally rent this place again.

We enjoyed our long stay at Casa Montana...very comfortable home and nicely decorated in Mexican style give it a very homey feel. The cul de sac neighbours are all friendly and the small but very nice pool is perfect for a cooling dip when the temps are hot. Sayulita is very cute and quite bohemian and the walk from the house to the beach and town is about 15 minutes and mostly flat. If you are not a surfer, the waves at the beach inhibit swimming to a degree as there is a bit of an undertow. ...but the beach is lovely and Dee has a nice umbrella you can take to the beach and lots of beach towels. Dee (house owner) is great and very flexible and super responsive to all emails. There is maid sevice once a week and having the full size washer and dryer is a great plus. There is airco in the bedrooms but we just used the ceiling and room fans. The local buses are great to take into PV or villages to the north of Sayulita. The house is about a 15 minute walk to the main bus stop for Sayulita. Just before we left iin Feb. the large outdoor deck got finished which is great for eating dinner or relaxing in the evening. there are several areas around the house to relax outside or eat meals made in the well equiped kitchen. All in all a great choice in Sayulita.! Thanks Dee!
