We stayed over Easter 2017, 2 adults, 1 child.

We arrived around lunch time, the staff were extremely helpful and professional on arrival. We are told that our villa wasn't quite ready, so we had lunch by the pool and they called me on my mobile (as they said they would) after about 40 minutes to say we could get the key.

The villas are beautiful - we were blown away - lovely, new, clean and well appointed. We had a lovely sea view over Salema, which is a charming little village with a number of good places to eat. It was quiet over the time we were there.

The villa is a large development but is well spread out with good parking, however, it is a the top of a steep hill. That was fine for us and reception will give you a lift to the village on request.

We will be back!

Brand new resort, we stayed in a villa with sea view, all perfect inside, well equipped and all equipments are very new. The view is wonderful because the resort is on top of a hill, this might be a problem for people that have problems to walk uphill, it takes 15 minutes to return from the beach to the villa and it is rather steep. Staff was very professional and nice at check-in. We stayed there in the week after Easter, occupation rate was low, it felt a bit awkward to be in a relatively large resort with so few guests, but this has nothing to do with the resort management, obviously.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Salema Beach Village. The accommodation exceeded all expectations. The townhouse we stayed in was plenty large enough for a family of four. It was immaculate, high quality accommodation that offered a complete home from home feel. We had a front line property and the view was fantastic. We spent a lot of time on the balcony looking out at the sea. For what we paid I doubt there is a better view anywhere. The staff were all extremely helpful. The food at the pool bar was excellent and the young lady who worked there particularly helpful.

The resort is quiet which suited us. There are however a number of good restaurants in the village which serve excellent food. The beach is the focal point. It is advertised as being voted the 15th best beach in the world by the Guardian. Not sure how such things are decided or how realistic they are but it is a fantastic beach. The sea is however cold. I am not sure whether it warms up a bit for the summer months. We were a bit concerned that the resort may not have general shops for provisions and for the early part of the holiday were reliant on the supermarket 5 minutes away by car on the N125. There are however two shops in the village which have sufficient supplies for self-catering provision.

For us a car was essential as we wanted to explore the region and visit some of the other beaches. We did several of them between Salema and Lagos. They are all different but impressive.

The combination of high quality accommodation with access to fantastic beaches in a peaceful setting made this a perfect break for us. I imagine it may get a little busier in the summer but I can't imagine that detracting from the calm and relaxing atmosphere. We will be back for more.

Villa is modern, clean with all mod cons, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Just what you need when traveling with children. Villa has 2 floors with the bedrooms downstairs. Our balcony was a nice size with views of the town and beach. All the resort staff were very helpful and friendly.
Town has a range of restaurants to suit all tastes. Beach is safe for swimming and has some nice walks for the evenings.

Room Tip: Sea views a must

This place is just a dream. Beautiful 2 bedroom villa. The staff were amazing, especially one of the young ladies in the pool bar who my 9 year old daughter took a shine to (Charley says hi!). With a 9 year old and a 1 year old it's often difficult to please both but no issues here. Reception and Maintenence staff amazing, they came and fitted a custom babygate to the living room stairs so if anyone else is worried about that just ask them! Golf buggies into town and back whenever you want, nothing is too much trouble. Cleaning is impeccable, every staff member we met is worthy of 5 stars!

We went all inclusive to Majorca in October with both girls and it was horrific, baby wouldn't sleep, food terrible, staff had attitude and was over priced. This place is 200% better and we will definitely be back at some point.

PS: A car is a must here as there is not a lot to do in Salema itself, plenty of onsite parking right outside the villa though!
