Owner description: Adam Puchta Winery, located off Hwy. 100 on the banks of Frene Creek about 2.5 miles southwest of Hermann, is the oldest family farm winery in Missouri. Its true uniqueness, however, lies in the fact that the same family has continuously owned it since 1855. We are a true farm winery with a peaceful, laidback setting. Many cats live here, and the property has picnic tables on a lovely shaded hillside so you can sit, visit and relax.Tastings are done in a cool old barn where we pair wine with food for a truly enhanced experience.

Suggest doing the $5 tasting to decide what you like best. Then buy a bottle of wine and some cheese curds to enjoy on the patio. Also there are lots of outdoor cats there who are very friendly

150 year old winery, they know what they are doing. We do not have a pallet for sweet wines, so don’t ask me about that. But the dry Vignoles is very summer drinkable and Hunters Red was good too. Outdoor seating and wines by the bottle. Really happy with the insulated sippy cups we bought! Limited food selection, but good with a bottle sitting outside.

Always have a great time here. As long as their aren't a bunch of drunk wedding parties there (like at all winery's) you will have a great time. The chocolate and crackers are great during the tastings. Nice selection of wine and outdoor seating.

Great tasting rooms and we really appreciate the crackers and chocolate chips as palate cleansers in between glasses. Cute shop of wine related items. Outdoor sitting area where you can buy bottles or just a glass of wine, or even a frozen cocktail! The tables under the trees are nice. The wine is tasty so bring some snacks and check it out!
