“Another delightful stay at Spindle Cottage Binegar”
Reviewed 2 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Excellent location for visiting Wells, a bustling little city with a great farmers market on Wednesday, and regular market on Saturday. Both the cathedral and the Bishops Palace garden are beautiful, and lots of good places to eat and drink.
The two pubs, Horse and Jockey in Binegar, and The George at Gurney Slade, both within easy walking distance, are excellent "locals".
RSPB Ham Wall, and Avalon Wildlife reserves on The Levels are great places to visit for walks and wildlife watching.
Spindle Cottage, both house and garden are a delight, and Angela and Alban are so friendly and welcoming you couldn't find a more perfect place to stay for a uk holiday.

We would like to start by thanking Alban and Angela for giving us and others the opportunity to stay in such an amazing magical place. Our stay at Spindle Cottage was no less than fantastic. We booked again for next year before leaving.

We are already counting down with only 349 days to go :-) xx

I would like to start by thanking you for being the most perfect guests. I am also looking forward to seeing you again next year.
It is fantastic when guests book again before they leave. I had one guest who rang me on her mobile while she was still in the cottage, she had been online and saw that the following week was also available and could she stay. I said of course you can.
It's guests like you make my job a joy. Lots of love to you all

“Another delightful week at the lovely Spindle Cottage”
Reviewed 16 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had another wonderful week staying at Angela and Alban''s delightful cottage and garden. Somerset looked beautiful with all the blossom on the trees, including the apple trees in the orchards. Lovely gardens to visit in the area, and many places to eat out, roundabout with great food. Good walking and bird watching too, especially down on the Levels at rspb Ham Wall, and at Somerset Nature reserves.
We will be back in the autumn!

“Beautiful and peaceful, a perfect retreat!”
Reviewed 27 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

A truly beautiful cottage full of character and charm, and every home comfort you could wish for. Cosy and warm with central heating as well as a lovely wood burner in the living room, made for a wonderful short break during a chilly February! Our 6 year old couldn't wait to get home each evening to help light the fire, and he adored the little playhouses and finding all the hidden treasures and carvings around the house and gardens. Angela and Alban were the perfect hosts - welcoming and helpful for local attractions, pubs etc. Perfect location for visiting Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells and Weston-super-Mare. Would definitely recommend and would love to return, perhaps when it's warmer, to enjoy the gardens even more! Thank you for a relaxing stay, we fully recharged our batteries!

Dear Sue & family,
You were the perfect guest so thank you for booking Spindle Cottage for your short break, and a big thank you for your perfect review. Great praise for the cottage and for your visits to Somersets lovely attractions.
We shall always do our best to make your stay as perfect as it can be, so we look forward to your next holiday here. If we could summon up perfect weather for you we would but we shall have to leave that to Mother Nature. September is often great, hint! hint! Take care.
Kind regards,
