Absolutely fabulous tamales but hard to find. The signage is on the side of the building not the front. Most of the business is drive through but if you knock at the door, Eugene Hicks will unlock it and allow you to dine inside. The tamales reminded me of the best Bolognese I ever had. Mr. Hicks said he never heard that before but admitted he got his first restaurant training in the kitchen of an Italian supermarket in Clarksdale. He FedExes to celebrities and others too.
