Clarksdale is a very sleepy looking place, but full of great people. This restaurant serves good bar food in a very pleasant, friendly atmosphere.Got to sing with some locals there celebrating a 21st birthday. Excellent sound system for local and touring bands (you may wish ear protection), and a wide selection of regional and national beers on draft. Thought the prices were reasonable, especially for the portion size. Fried pickles!

Recomendable.

We had dinner at Ground Zero last August 9th. The Ground Zero, seen from the outside, really is scary, but as you can see next, it is part of the decoration itself.
The price of the food is reasonable. We ordered fried green tomatoes which were very good.
The performance, without being exceptional, was quality.
Recommendable.

Food was average and over priced. Atmosphere was typical with graffiti and memorabilia on every surface. Went because Morgan freeman owns it and felt most everyone else dos too. Entertainment was good but no more so than in Ohio. Probably unfair with only 1 night and 1 day visit. Felt Reds was a more accurate and intimate for the Blues.

Great music and food, but do not like drinking from a plastic cup. Atmosphere and authentic Blues music was perfect!

I so desperately wanted to love my visit here yet somehow i feel it wasn't all i had hoped it would be. Firstly this isn't a rip off place, the food and drink is fairly priced though given some of the meals i have enjoyed in the area the cooks could do with upping their game a bit if they want to compete. Not saying it was bad, just not as great as some places.

The band was very competent with some skilled instrumentalists and they interacted well with the crowd, not a band i was familiar with but they seem to be regulars, they got people out of their seats and onto the floor.

All the ingredients for a great night out but didn't exceed a very enjoyable evening.
