Heard great things about Mad Mozzies. Travelled from Tofo beach for lunch to find that the restaurant had burnt to the ground a few weeks earlier. This review serves to make other travellers aware that the restaurant no longer exists.

My wife had fish and I had chicken. Both dishes were great. However everything my daughters ordered was out of stock and they ended up eating 2 minute noodles at the casa. Mad Mozzies is situated virtually on the beach. The pub had a nice vibe with interesting customers.

Great beach bar and restaurant, wooden decking, sturdy tables beneath wafting palm fronds, little plunge pool, trampoline and a stunning ocean view. Relaxed and fun, smiling staff, confident cocktails and good food. Great for fidgety kiddies ( and aunties); trampolining or swimming between courses is quite acceptable. Happy memories made and cherished.

Situated on the beach, has a awesome view for the most awesome sunsets, We ordered lunch, very average.

An excellent choice for a good meal. Gorgeous setting, friendly staff, good cocktails. There is a pool for the kids to play in and a very good braai area. In fact one day the chef never came to work; according to his colleagues..New Year's Day Babelas. But management quickly made a plan, delicious braai packs!!! Needless to say the chef was back the next day and the food was back it it's good standard.
