A nice place to kill time between Mayo appointments. My hiking days are over but the wildlife center is nice and we enjoyed watching and identifying the birds.

We LOVE Quarry Hill! There are great hiking trails including different types of landscapes from meadow to rocks to the quarry. Hike up to the quarry to look for fossils. Hike around the meadows for butterflies, plants, and other critters. Explore the pond for fish and other living things. (Winter is great for skiing or snow shoeing too.) The newly renovated nature center is a fun place to see animals and learn while playing... what a fantastic remodel! The summer kid classes where parents stay too are great! We only wish they had these classes for 5 year olds as we are not interested in day camps yet.
