Just home for a lovely 3 night break in Coach Cottage. Well what can I say. The cottage was immaculate and the attention to detail, the welcome pack and the information from Kathryn were gratefully received. Even throughout our stay Kathryn kept in touch to ask if everything was ok and to give us information. The village of Southrepps is peaceful with a handy little shop and a nice pub. However, the Foundry Arms in Northrepps was fantastic. We had a lovely meal in both the Vernon Arms in Southrepps and the Foundry Arms in Northrepps. Booking advised for both. Don't hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you for giving feedback on your second visit to Coach Cottage. I am delighted that your return visit was so enjoyable in spite of the recent cold winds. We'd be delighted to see you again and, if I may offer additional temptation to return, the hot sultry weather in summer and early autumn are quite glorious whether one ventures to the beach, explores the local paths and cycle routes, or just relaxes in the garden.

“Comfortable and high quality cottage in great location”

We had a delightful stay in Coach Cottage. The attention to detail from the owner made it the most comfortable place to stay. it was like being in a home from home, and we didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend. Some cottages are impersonal as they have been managed by agencies. This is the opposite. it is well equipped, well cared for and very comfortable.
The welcome pack was very thoughtful and generous, including home made bread and marmalade which were both delicious.
There is a double ended fire with loads of logs and kindling. The fire was even laid for us, which made it quick and easy to light. However you don't need to light the fire as there is underfloor heating, so it was warm and cosy.
We had flowers on the window sills which added that personal touch. There are games, DVDs, guides to the area, maps and everything you could possibly need to enjoy yourselves. There is even a torch to use when walking to the pub.
In addition the owner has carefully thought about people who have mobility issues, for example it is all on one level, with a ramp up to the back door. There are many mobility aids available. My friend used the shooting seat after she hurt her ankle. This meant she could you it as a walking stick and rest wherever we went.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, with high quality bedding. We all slept very well. All the equipment is high quality, from the towels to the cutlery. there is a dishwasher, washing machine and three toilets. You can't ask for more than you get here.
The village has a shop and a fabulous pub with great food and a warm welcome, both within a short walk. The cottage is in a great location to explore the Norfolk Coast.
It was cold when we stayed so we didn't use the garden, but i am sure it would be delightful in the summer.

Thank you for such a comprehensive review. I am delighted that you had a pleasant stay at Coach Cottage and am sure your review will prove very useful to future guests who might like to stay in the winter months and want to be 100% certain that they will be cosy and warm. Similarly it is always reassuring to know that guests with limited mobility may enjoy the cottage, so whilst it is a shame your friend needed the use of the seat stick, I am glad that it was there and helped. We'd love to have you to stay again - perhaps in the summer when you may enjoy the walled garden too.
