My partner and I love staying at the Loft! This is our second visit, and was every bit as comfortable and enjoyable as the first. The space is roomy, well-appointed, full of amenities (the air bath is one of our favorites), and Cindy is a thoughtful, welcoming host who is available but lets guests enjoy the space with privacy. The fresh baked amish bread & eggs are a nice touch too!

Thanks, Nick for taking time to write a review. Returning guests often check themselves in, and check themselves out, leaving a check on the table. This allows them to enjoy total privacy and a quiet time for just "being".

“Peace and Quiet”
Reviewed 22 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I was looking for a quiet place to spend some time away from the Twin Cities, and that's exactly what I found! The Asahi Loft is a great get-away, not too far of a drive from TC, and very reasonably priced. The layout of the loft is great, plenty of space and light, a decent sized kitchen, and a very comfortable reading chair. As far as things to do, personally I took the time to explore the countryside. There are lots of hiking areas nearby and even driving around the back roads was fun. Be sure to check out a sinkhole! If you are looking for somewhere to relax without an agenda, this is it!

“Hidden gem in SE Minnesota”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

My boyfriend and I traveled from Minneapolis to spend New Year's weekend here and I have to say, the reviews I read beforehand set the bar pretty high...and the Loft delivered! The owners were very professional, organized, and accessible but gave us our privacy. We loved the organic eggs and fresh baked bread upon our arrival. The place was extremely clean with lots of fun Japanese decorations and details. We ate at Estelle's which was hosting a 5 course New Years Eve dinner and it was right on par with some of the best restaurants in the cities. I definitely would recommend this place to others, and I would like to visit again in the summer time and explore the area. Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely getaway!

“The perfect weekend at Asahi Loft”

I met a couple of friends in Harmony Minnesota and we stayed at Asahi Loft. It was the perfect setting with a beautiful well-stocked kitchen and an incredibly relaxing ambiance. We could have gone the whole weekend without leaving the loft but did go out to Estelle's for dinner one night (walking distance and absolutely delicious) and rented a self-guided amish tour cd which was such a unique experience.

Thanks for making us feel at home, Asahi Loft. We will be back!

Thanks Kate for writing a review! I think you were the first guests to celebrate the holidays with latkes. The Loft can accommodate three comfortably and having great restaurants and a movie theater within walking distance is a real perk.

We recently stayed two nights at Asahi Loft in Harmony, MN. The Asahi Loft is a great choice if you enjoy having all the comforts of home (and more) when you travel. The pictures on the owners’ website are a true representation of the many amenities offered.

My husband is not a big fan of B&Bs, but Asahi Loft hardly fits that category. The Japanese-themed loft is completely separate from the owners’ home. One does not need to schedule a time for breakfast. Instead the loft has a full kitchen which is stocked with homemade bread, jam, butter, Amish eggs, fruit, crackers, spices, coffee, and many varieties of tea.

There is a notebook which includes information about the surrounding area along with maps and menus for local restaurants. Strolling the streets of Harmony or biking the 18 mile trail between Harmony and Preston was very scenic due to the autumnal colors. And the self-cleaning air tub was wonderful for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
