We had reservation to stay November 13 through November 25. However, instead we stayed at this hotel from November 13 and checked out November 22. The full cost was charged as they had a no cancellation policy. We did not insist on a refund for the last 3 days.
The Hotel says they have WiFi, but it is essentially unusable as it is too slow to be functional.
The reason we left early is because of a problem at the Hotel. On Monday, November 20, we were given a written notice that the water would be turned off on Monday night and remain off until Tuesday evening. We accepted that. On Tuesday we were told that instead it would occur in Tuesday night and be off until Wednesday evening. We decided that that was too much unpredictability (we also saw three apparently clueless plumbers working on the leaky pipe near the Hotel office) and checked out on Wednesday and moved to a lovely hotel further away. The hotel worker at Saint Germain complained that we shouldn’t leave just because there was no water!
On the positive side, we enjoyed the location, the grounds, and chocolate cake for breakfast.More
