The hotel is exceptionally well kept and the staff are wonderful. Not once did I encounter a staff member that did not say hello or ask if I needed anything. Amazing location on the beach and the breakfast offered numerous options to please everyone.

This resort did not disappoint. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful! The resort is close to shopping and great restaurants. We enjoyed the beach area out the back doors of the resort with plenty of chairs, tables, and great views. We even played tennis and pickle ball next door at the senior center courts next door with some of the equipment borrowed from the resort. Sleeping Bear Dunes Park is about 40 minutes away. A tough hike but well worth the goal to reach Lake Michigan. Would highly recommend Bayshore Resort!

It was our first time in Traverse City, MI. The resort is slightly dated in style and in accommodations but other than that I would stay here again in the future. Our family shared a one-bedroom suit with my sister's family. Our family (my husband and I along with our one and a half year old and four year old toddlers) stayed in the room with the king sized bed. There was just enough room to squeeze in a queen blow up mattress we brought along for the kids. The only downside was that the bathroom adjoining the room did not have a bathtub. My sister and her husband with their 3 year old and 7 month old slept in the living area with the fold out mattress couch and there was enough room to have a blow up queen mattress in the living area as well. In addition, there was a crib for the baby. There was a full dining area and kitchen. There was an additional half bathroom. There was enough room to have two families with 3 toddlers and a baby in the suit which for our needs was terrific. The provided breakfast was great in the morning with a variety of food to eat. It was wells stocked and very well attended to. There is coffee available all the time. We loved how we could walk out the back of the resort and head straight onto the beach and on rainy days we could use their indoor heated pool. The location is terrific. You are about a 0.6 mile walk from the traverse trail that swings around with the bay and also cuts off in a separate course straight into downtown Traverse city. Your are a mile to a mile in a half of multiple ice cream stores and restaurants. We walked downtown with our toddlers on multiple occasions from the resort. If you don't want to go far for great ice cream they sell moomers downstairs which is very tasty ice cream as well. If you continue on the trail you will hit a splash park and a little beach area where there is a changing area, restrooms, food stand and place to rent kayaks and paddleboards etc. Overall, the location is excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Traverse City area esp with little ones!

Bayshore Resort has always met and exceeded our expectations for a relaxing stay in Traverse City. Clean and updated rooms, well stocked continental breakfast, helpful staff. The bayside rooms are a must to enjoy the sounds of the waves at night (amazing!). However, the 'quiet times' of 11pm to 7am are not always enforced.

Enjoyable relatively quiet stay. Lovely view along the Bay for Sunset. Be sure to ask for a room on the back of the property to avoid the traffic noise along 31. History and character of a Bed and Breakfast with a full service restaurant.
