“Ok wines, nice old school house”

This winery is an easy stop along M37 as it is in an old school house. There is an outside seating area and tasting bar inside. It was quite busy. You get five tastes for $5. The server was very busy, a bit rushed. The peninsula area is known for rieslings and the dry one was pretty good. Most of the other wines are sweet and were blends. Not very impressed with them. Prices were reasonable though, and the sangria was refreshing.

Peninsula Cellars is a nice spot to stop for wine tastings and purchasing. The selection is fairly small, but they have some tasty wines. It is definitely a cute venue and worth a stop.

The wine was fine, though not stellar. The lady who did the tasting had the personality of a hair brush. She barely gave us time to finish a taste before she started pouring the next, refusing to wait for everyone to catch up and stay on pace. She answered no questions, offered nothing about the wines, and added bothers me to the experience. They weren’t busy. With so many wineries in the area, there is just no reason to go here.

A quaint atmosphere with some good wines and very tasty root beer if you need a break from wine. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice patio to enjoy your drinks.

This very easy to find along old mission peninsula. Which means it is a little crowded on a weekend day. They have a nice $5 tasting which allows you to try some nice white wines (skip the reds). Very nice Gertztiminer
Does have patio to sit and relax with a glass and plan out visit to other wineries to north.
