The condo was adorable and was in a prime location. Marta has the kitchen full of everything you would need for a short stay. Her gift basket of goodies was delicious and very nice! Awesome bottle of wine too- the snacks are a classy touch. The only drawback for us was the late check in. We got in the room at 4:30, which I felt is a bit late considering check out is 11. I would think 3 should be the target check in time and that gives cleaning crew plenty of time. Other than that it was a very comfortable visit and would do it again!
Always enjoy staying at Marta's Bayfront Suite. Very comfortable and clean with loads of character. Bed very comfortable - linens, towels and toiletries high end. Everything you need in the kitchen, nice stuff too. Lovely gift basket on table when you arrive, very much appreciated the cheese, wine, crackers and chocolate! It was cold and rainy that weekend so we enjoyed the view from the couch straight out to the water. In fair weather - your private porch right outside the front door is more than wonderful. Every time I stay here I say "I wish this was mine." It's perfect.
I wanted to take my husband away for a weekend to celebrate his birthday. Neither of us had ever been to Saugatuck, but the trip was a surprise for him. Since it was December, I wanted to be very close to shops and restaurants, so that we could comfortably walk even if the weather was cold; Marta's rental was perfect! I couldn't have imagined a better location, and Marta was an exceptional hostess-- very responsive during the booking process and reaching out with suggestions for the area before our arrival. The bedroom was nice and warm since the heating unit was in the room, even though the apartment has two exterior walls. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, and the perfect size for two. We had a blast!

We just decided to go to Saugatuck to celebrate our anniversary over Thanksgiving.
This looked like the perfect spot for us.
Located right on the harbor front, and easily walking distance to shops and restaurants, it was a wonderful choice.
The cottage is decorated eclectically, and has every amenity needed.
A welcome basket of gourmet coffee, wine, cheese and dip awaited us in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked, and can be used, but is a small space. The convection oven suited our needs.
Ice trays were not provided so our cooler served that purpose. The table provided a nice place to eat and play games.
The kingsize bed is wonderful. The utility
Room had a stackable washer/dryer which was very nice to have. Our suitcases were able to stay there, also.
The bathroom is small, but the shower is well worth the size. A second shelf would have been nice.
The living/kitchen is fine for 2. The large flat screen tv, dvd player was nice, but
The weather was rainy so we could not take advantage of the cute porch area with a pond and beautiful view.
Loved the decorating touches. We definitely, would consider this a special place to relax and enjoy the area.
The couch was extremely low -- cushions need more stuffing. Sitting on dining chairs was neither comfortable or relaxing (which is what we desperately ended). Brought in chair from porch.
Love the wonderful location!!
The black stuff coming out of the HVAC over my head was unpleasant.
King bed great, but not much room to walk around to get to tiny bathroom. Shower head had fabulous water pressure.
