Such an interesting tour and only R55.00 per person. Would definitely recommend this!
A lot of worms and moths and cocoons for you to see and touch, nice restaurant and a nice shop with silk products!

The small town of Grasskopf is cute and I enjoyed this store. The ladies were very helpful and kind. Lot's of choices. Too much to pick from. Loved it!

If I had the time I would literally spend a day at Africa Silks to explore on all the high quality silk merchandise on display. The sales women were very helpful and friendly and effortlessly assisted me.

The women at the spinning wheels gave the shop an authentic feel and I was amazed by just how talented they are.

I bought a beautiful silk tie for my husband and for myself a delicate and stunning silk scarf.

Not to be missed when in the Graskop area.

Visited Africa Silk 'shop' in Graskop. A quick popin for the kids turned into an half an hour plus experience. They really took the time to show and explain the whole process of making silk 'anything'. Yes it is expensive to buy..BUT go visit and have a look at how it is made...then it actually becomes cheap. Thanks

Locally made silk products from silk-filled comforters to scarves to clothing to cushions. It was colorful and some quite elegant. And it benefits African women who would otherwise not have a livelihood so you feel like you are truly benefitting the world as you buy beautiful things.
