The rooms are large, spacious, and clean. The owners have a beautiful hotel and grounds area and were very helpful and responsive in answering my questions. We requested a take away breakfast and they made an extra effort to customize it to our liking.

Let's make it brief :
- the only positive point was the guy at the reception smiling and giving good advices
- for the room : a good the room 14- you eat every people going up and down by the stairs, you eat everything said at the reception and if not lucky and it's raining you eat every drop of water falling down from the gutter on the roof covering the terrasse.
- it was the winter and no heater in the room. We were cold.
- people are breakfast seems to be less awoken than you as they are really not smiling.
- breakfast is medium.

This place is full of character. It has a great atmosphere and the decor is so interesting in a 70s arty style throughout. There is very secure gated parking at the back and you are in a great location. It is a bit of a tourist trap but good eating places and shops are good as well for a wander. Sadly there was only a standard room available but it was absolutely fine. Breakfast is great and they have the most delicious pumpkin rye bread which mustn’t be missed. We had a great roast lamb dinner. We loved their big open fires as it was pretty chilly. We couldn’t get the bedroom very warm which was a shame and why I only gave it four stars but don’t let that stop you staying here we would most definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Hotel is quirky and comfortable eat down by two items; 1) hotel is located on a busy main road, traffic did die down in the early hours of the morning but we were there during their winter so not sure what it would be like during peak time, and 2) the evening menu is very limited, only two dishes on offer and nothing that caters for children. Other than that a comfortable hotel conveniently located for exploring the Panoramic Route
