The memorial is located in Green Hill park with its' quiet setting allowing time to reflect on the sacrafices of those who served. A good place to bring your grandchildren to educate them on the war and those who served.

Beautiful, safe and tranquil place. Memorials have small messages from the veterans. God bless every one of them. A must visit!

This park is a beautiful memorial to a son and all the Massachusetts veterans who served in the Iraqi & Afghanistan War. There are pictures and a list of veterans, a tank, statues and picnic tables. Please keep in mind, any trash must go home with you. This is a free park, one that Leominster is very proud of.

I have driven by the sign on I-290 for the Memorial many times and finally stopped. It is only a few miles off the highway in Green Hill Park. Once you turn into the park's road, the Memorial is about a mile up. While the Memorial is small and understated, it is very powerful. Not only are there slabs with the names of the fallen but there are some inscribed with letters written by soldiers, who later died at an early age. The grounds are nicely landscaped with trails near the Memorial.

Yesterday was our first time in that particular area and we stopped by the memorial upon the recommendation of a friend. It far exceeded my expectations. The pillars with letters written by soldiers killed in the war were sobering and moving. It is a beautiful, peaceful space, and an outstanding tribute to our Massachusetts Vietnam Vets.
