You kind of know what you’re getting when you book at Best Western. It’s not going to be stellar, but it’s not going to ruin your day, either. That was my experience. The mornings and night staff were friendly. The room was okay. For the most part, it was clean, except for a small stain on one of the bed covers and a red smear on the front of the sink. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, which was nice. The dresser’s drawers were broken, but the nightstand’s drawer worked. The TV was nice, and Internet and premium channels (at least HBO) were included. The toilet had a very low power flush and a couple of tiles in the shower were cracked, but the shower itself was fine, and the toiletries were nice. The bed was comfy, and the thermostat for the room worked great. Breakfast was included and consisted of your typical continental breakfast options: coffee/tea, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bagels, muffins, and a waffle maker. There were also sausage links and hard boiled eggs (the eggs looked like they had seen better days). Everything I had was delicious. Overall, I’d say 3.5-4/5.
