I love the Vineyard Harbor Motel as you can tell from my past posts but it is even better now. The staff is wonderful as always and the rooms are cleaned to perfection, but they have great soaps now too as well, not the little bars. The beach was immaculate, the beach towels seemed new too as well, they were big, not the small ones they used to have. I think Christine (the manager) who is delightful by the way has done an outstanding job. Thank you for making our stay and our friends stay the best it could be !!!

Room Tip: I like the first floor in the main building but all rooms are great !

Hotel is located at Vineyard Haven in MV. Its a short walk from the ferry that goes to Vineyard Haven. So if you are booked at this hotel, it would be best to take the ferry that lands at Vineyard Haven as there is another one (Oak Bluffs) on the other side, but you have to take a bus or a cab to be in the motel. If you are plannng to take your car to MV, call ahead to reserve your spot at the ferry and be ready for lots of traffic, specially during the summer weekends.

Ok - now the motel - its a pretty dated facility with an option to choose a suite style or just plain basic room. The property has its own access to the beach and along the roads are scores of restaurants and shops. The motel do not have a resraurant at site, no turndown service, no elevator and its a 2 storey property manned by a parttime staff until 9pm. After that, you are on your own.

Everything at MV is pricey even at an old property such as this. Although there are others that are better - you just have to be prepared to shell put an extra cash for they cost in the neighborhood of 600-900 per night.

The room we had is clean, with new linens and basic toiletries. The price is a bit in the high side but as I mentioned, almost everything at MV is pricey.

Overall, our motel served its purpose and nothing fancy. Just lower your expectations when you decide to book.

Went to Martha vineyard fir a family funeral. Our first night we stayed in a timeshare then moved to this quaint motel for the next 4 nights. It wasn't fancy but it was spacious and clean. Several family members stayed here and my cousin was able to work out a good rate since several family were staying here. My cousins stayed 5 in one room (2 were children) but it made it very affordable for a family getaway. In the mornings you could take a 1 minute walk to the dock or actually step outside your door and see the the harbor. Lovely place would definitely stay here again!

I found the rooms comfortable and the facility to be a recluse to give u a private event and be in downtown Vinyard Haven There is a private beach for us and there is a large green area between the two decks of rooms. It is just a great place to spend time

My family and I travel to Martha's Vineyard every year and had recently stayed in different hotels. We switched to this hotel this year and rented 8 rooms. The main motel location is great with an awesome view. The rooms are a little bit outdated but that is definitely clear when looking at pictures online. The courtyard is a great place to hang out with family and the private beach with ladder ball is fun for all ages. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and switched one room without issue for us because the other room we were given had a bad smell. Stay in the main building if you can as those rooms are much better than the second building in the parking lot. Overall the location cannot be beat, the staff is amazing, and it is great for the price!

Room Tip: The rooms in the main building are the best.
