Stopped for brunch on our way to Cape Cod because we loved the look of the building. Had not read any reviews prior to eating here and just picked it at random. Parking lot was very full which is always a good sign. Delicious lobster bisque and my travelling partner really like the peach and blueberry pancakes. Coffee was quite good and the service was fast and attentive without being intrusive. Bakery attached with very delicious looking treats but we were too full to try any. Would not hesitate to recommend or return although there are so many restaurants along Route 6A, it's a shame to not give another spot a try if we are ever back this way again.

Over the course of many many years, my wife and I have been breakfast patrons of The Marshland restaurant on 6A in Sandwich. Favorites are the hash & eggs with hash browns and eggs benedict. Try a grilled muffin. The breakfasts are super and the staff is friendly, attentive and fast. It reminds me of the diners of old. Attached to the restaurant is a bakery with a nice selection. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner where beer and wine are available. Our only complaint is that it can be hard to get into in the summer.

Our annual Columbus Day Weekend trip to the Cape ended with less than favorable biking weather. We decided to go to Marshland for a big Cape lunch before heading home to Boston after reading great reviews and liking what we saw on the menu. Marshland did not disappoint! The atmosphere is a throw back to an earlier time and was homey and cozy, clean and comfortable. The "hostess" Eileen and our server Debbie were both wonderfully attentive, helpful, warm and friendly without being intrusive. We loved how the restaurant seem to mostly attract locals and had NO touristy feel to it at all. And the food!! It was all delicious!! First was the lobster bisque, which was divine - rich, but not over the top, full of large lobster chunks and very little "filler" vegetables. Subtle hints of the sherry and butter rounded out the perfect bisque. We each had salads that were huge and filled with very fresh greens and other ingredients and we shared a clam strip platter. Clam strips were the right balance of breading and soft and chewy clams - good treat of comfort food. For the extra $1.50 we got the sweet potato fries which were addicting. I have no idea what kind of coating/spices they put on the large fries, but they really enhanced the soft sweetness of the yams. YUM! We drove back home very full and satisfied. We will be back. Thanks Eileen, Debbie and Marshland for a great meal and dining experience

You know a place is good when you see all the locals eating there. We had breakfast there as we where leaving the Cape. Coffee, tea and full breakfasts options are available. Not a large place but worth the wait.
