Owner description: The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation preserves and promotes the legacy of President Kennedy, his family, and their deep connection to Cape Cod. John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is a multimedia exhibit designed to open a window on the days JFK spent on Cape Cod; days relaxing with family, days as President of the United Sates when the Cape provided a time to relax and be reinvigorated and days spent sailing on the ocean to which he was so constantly drawn. The Museum's exhibits features videos and photographs spanning the years 1934 to 1963 and is arranged in thematic groupings to reflect John F. Kennedy, his family, his friends and the Cape Cod he so dearly loved. In addition to photography, a video narrated by Walter Cronkite depicts the president's experiences on the Cape. Several themed areas include charged oral histories of JFK's friends. Please check our website for correct dates and times that the museum is open.

The museum was full of photos of the Kennedy clan. Mi learnt quite a lot about them. Surprised there weren't any artefacts.

we bought a discount ticket on Groupen...and we were not sure what to expect. This is a small, well laid out and very informative museum. Like Cape Cod in general, the welcome was warm and this was a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommend. The photographs are numerous, and well laid out and tell the Kennedy story and presidency with great impact.

This museum is small and intimate, especially compared to theJFK Museum and Library in Boston. We enjoyed seeing the Creating Camelot photo exhibit which really conveyed the warmth and family atmosphere of the president and his family.

If you are fascinated by the Kennedy story this is a must. At the moment they are running a fascinating photographic exhibition offering an insight to the Kennedy family life in Hyannis Port. Definitely worth a visit.
