We had the pleasure of being a guest of this lovely Bed and Breakfast over the past weekend. We were really impressed with the overall experience. The porch is lovely. We unfortunately had rain in the morning and unable to sit outside, but sat in the main room on the first floor by the window and was just as happy. The proprietor John was personable and hospitable. It includes a continental breakfast that had many choices to start your day. Our room was on the 2nd floor with two rooms, I would consider it a suite. The bed extremely comfortable for two. The front room faces the sea and was an adorable sitting room with working fireplace for the cold winter months, with small refrigerator. It was very quiet the entire evening, almost like our own house. The stairs are small but this is an old house. Houses then were not built with wide sweeping stairs as they are today. This was recommended by another business, The Cupboard, in the park and it was everything they said it would be. I wish we had a few extra days to enjoy the area. The property faces the sea and there is a small grocery store within walking distance. All and all it has lots of charm. Highly recommended. Check out the Cupboard in Stage Fort Park for many home cooked choices.
We will be back. Enjoy your stay !More
