Canned clams. Claim their ravioli is fresh; but they are premade. Canned pizza sauce. Premade dressing. Sandy lettuce. Horrible establishment and mike should be ashamed for lying to the public the way he does. At least his "fresh baked" bread isn't Atleast cooked to toast before getting bagged and set to him.

Sadly, Il Forno used to be a go-to restaurant for us. Our last visit about 2 years ago was a terrible experience. I was served seafood pasta fra diavolo which basically a cook had thrown about 1/3 cup of crushed red pepper onto it making it inedible. I returned my plate (which I hardly ever do) and was presented back the same dish that tasted as if they had rinsed it with water to dilute the pepper flakes. First bite was of a piece of shrimp, which was bad. I returned the plate again and wasn't offered an alternative and had to ask the waitress if I could have a plate of plain pasta. Meanwhile all the others in our party of 10 had finished their meals. Flashback to this past weekend where we were invited to join a group making 7 total and we thought we'd try again. Bad choice. 3 of the 7 returned their dishes from either over-salting, undercooked or cold. My go-to again seafood fra and the first bite of shrimp reeked of ammonia. The 5 or 6 mussels were edible, but not delicious. The remaining mess of sauce was shriveled calamari, indescribable chunks of what may have been clams or fish. Sadly, I didn't enjoy this meal and should have sent it back, which would have been 4 of 7 meals returned. Sorry to say that we won't try Il Forno again. One positive though, the garlic bread was delicious as it had always been.

Don't be fooled by the facade it's a charming Italian restaurant once you get inside a very family-friendly place we can take the family for a good meal in an excellent waitress we would definitely go back again for in the area

Mike and his team of Chef's continue to provide us all with delightful and delicious Italian cuisine. His staff is always willing to accommodate your cuisine requests, mixing/adding various ingredients should you wished them added to your meal.

They do an outstanding job of marrying many of New England's fresh fish (such as haddock) with some traditional Italian recipes, like there popular version of Haddock Francese. There specials are often creative and are extremely tasteful. You will never leave hungry since they don't hold back on the portions that they serve.

Went to the Easter Brunch/Buffet at Il Fornos and enjoyed it. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. There was a nice selection of breakfast and dinner entrees as well as a dessert table. Everything was well stocked, abundant and well prepared. My favorites were the fluffy scrambled eggs, beef burgundy and cannolis. Been to Il Fornos a number of times for dinner but this was our first visit for the Easter Buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back again.
