Food was fine but expensive. We had dinner outside and very much enjoyed the view. We have been dining here for years, through various owners. The restaurant seems to be lacking in organization and the manager clearly does not care. We had a rude waiter a year ago and we discussed the waiter with the manager at that time. We had not been back since but decided to give the restaurant another chance. We had the same waiter again. We thought perhaps he had changed, but he was as unfriendly, rude and as unattentive as last year. The waiters were assigned throughout the restaurant so that there were four different waiters in our outside section who all had one or two tables plus tables inside. This arrangement resulted in the waiters being absent most of the night. We wanted our bill but our waiter was no where to be found. We asked the very friendly waiter who was working the table next to us to please ask our waiter for the bill. He asked who our waiter was and I said I did not know his name because he did not introduce himself but that he was the “rude guy.” The nice waiter smiled and said “ I know who you mean” and he had yet another waiter bring our bill to us. We once again discussed our unfriendly waiter with the manager. We explained that we spoke with him last year about the same waiter and that we would not be returning. The manager said “ okay” and went back to cleaning up dishes. The poor service from a rude waiter and disorganized staffing assignments, along with an unconcerned manager made for an unpleasant dinner and the reason for my low rating.
