This was the perfect rental for us: lots of sleeping space; close to our relatives, the beach and town; dog friendly; and very clean!
This property was a perfect fit for our family. The master bedroom included a crib which was perfect for our youngest who doesn't sleep as well in a pack-n-play. Nap time was a breeze. The proximity to both the beach and town was ideal, and saved us money since we did not need to buy a parking pass for the beach. There were a variety of restaurants to choose from in town. The backyard was very private and would be a great place to grill out or just sit and have a drink. The sunroom was very relaxing in the morning to drink our coffee while the kids played games. I can't think of anything that I didn't like about this vacation home. We will definitely be back in the future!

The location really can't be beat.
15 min walk north (with a 2 and 4 year-old in tow) to town center, which has lots of restaurants and shops. Right where surf drive hits main street, there's a public library with a huge playground, a bakery, a chinese restaurant, and a great place for breakfast.
15 min walk south to surf drive beach, which is small and rocky (buythe kids some water shoes from TJ Maxx!), but very shallow and therefore perfect for little ones--don't take your car and pay the daily parking fee, it's very close.
A little longer walk east to Falmouth Harbor, and there's a hole-in-the-wall place with amazing fried clams, called -fittingly - the Clam Shack.
The house itself was very spacious and comfortable. After stocking the ample kitchen with groceries from the supermarket (10 min drive), we really didn't feel like taking the car out again! But since this was our first time to the area, we forced ourselves to explore the rest of the cape...but we always found ourselves back at the house, grilling out in the private backyard, or walking to the beach or town.
Being from the midwest, where the the A/C runs from May through September, we found the house rather hot at the end of sunny days, even with the window A/C units running; but if you crack the windows and run the fan in the evening, it cools right down.
We had a fantastic time and will definitely return!
